The Governor of New York signed the Electronic Wills Act on December 12, 2025. The law has a delayed effective date of June 10, 2027.
The Missouri Senate passed the Missouri Electronic Wills and Electronic Estate Planning Documents Act. It previously cleared the House. It goes to the Governor’s desk. When signed, it will have an effective date of August 28, 2025.
